Hi! Welcome to The Mutt House! My name is Gianna and I am the owner and founder of my home based structured daycare, boarding, and training facility.

Growing up, I was always the quiet kid who found solace in animals, dogs especially. They were my comfort and caring for them was and still is my biggest passion. As I grew older, that passion only deepened. I began working professionally with animals at age 15, and by 16 I landed my first job working at a small dog daycare.

Thats where I met Jax, my soul dog, who changed my life forever. Jax was my very first rescue dog of my own and he had a rough past; but with lots of dedication, training, and patience, he went from fearful and reactive to confident, and thriving! I learned so much from our journey and I loved seeing him experience the world in a new light.

A few years later, I brought home Maisie, my first service dog. She opened doors to so many new experiences, and not only did she teach me so many valuable skills and so many amazing lessons, but she also taught me how hard work really does pay off, even when you hit a bump (or many bumps) in the road and things don’t always go the way they were planned. I was originally told Maisie would never be fit to be a service dog and I was ready to prove people wrong. Thats where my love for balanced training really began! Maisie is now two years old and is the most incredible service dog I could’ve ever asked for!

If one thing is for sure, my own dogs have taught me some of the most valuable life lessons— to live in the moment, love unconditionally, have patience, try new things, face your fears, and enjoy the little things!

With all that said— Im proud to introduce you to The Mutt House; Where my love for every aspect of dogs, their training, and helping others, come together.
